Hi, my name is Adam. I am a 25 year old from Virginia.

The writing you will find in this blog is entirely my own thoughts. I could say I write them for myself, but really, I just want to share them with you. In fact, I want you to agree with what I say, to tell me I am right. I do not have any reason for you to trust me, but I will still espouse my beliefs as if they are truth.

And what do I believe? I believe that no one owes another person their attention, let alone their trust. Here I am, putting my thoughts out there as if my ideas have any more value than someone else’s. Just because these ideas are fundamental who I am does not make them valuable.

So where do I draw the line between humility, beliefs, and expression? This is the type of negotiation this blog will be about. Given how many ideas are thrown around the internet, and the many ways those could be interpreted, I think I want to clean things up. Too much saying how things ought to be when we as a people should just be. So here is my personal blog where I say how things ought to be.
